Overview
The online application
can be used for the Monster Dash 5Km Fun Run.
Unfortunately, due to the processing costs, we cannot
offer this facility for the Junior events. To
register, you simply click on the link below and you
will be taken direct to our Monster Dash page on the
Runners World website. There is a simple entry
form to complete before you are taken to a secure
payment section. Runners World register
participants online in running and athletics events
across the whole of the UK.
General Terms
Each entrant will need
to register separately. By doing this we
make sure everyone is authorised correctly and has an
individual race number.
However, you may make
one payment at the end for all entrants.
All online entries require
to be completed and approved by an adult. In doing
so the adult accepts full responsibility for payment of
the entry. This applies to all participants.
All runners aged 14
years and over are welcome to run independently but a
parent/guardian needs to agree to online conditions on
their behalf. Children of any age may walk or run
with their parents on this run. At all times
children are the responsibility of their
parents/guardians.
You confirm that you (or
a child you are signing for) are medically fit to
participate in your chosen event. The cost for the
Monster Dash 5Km Fun Run is only £5 per person in
advance. A 75 pence Runners World processing fee
is payable for online registration. On Race Day the entry fee is £10 per
person.
Entry
and Payment
Please complete the
online application in full. Please take time to
ensure the details you provide are accurate, including
your email address. The
accepted payment is by
credit card only - e.g.
Mastercard, Visa, etc.
After your application is complete, you will receive an
email from Runners World to confirm payment then all
subsequent contact is with Monster Dash. Please
note that the Runners World website is used to process
your application and accept payment only. Monster
Dash send out your race pack and organise the event.
Data
Protection
Your details will only
be held at Fylde Coast YMCA and Runners World, used only
for Monster Dash purposes and not passed on to any other
organisation or third party.
All participants and
spectators may be filmed, photographed or recorded for
broadcast, security, archive and health and safety
purposes.
Race
Instructions
Race packs will begin to
be sent out from July onwards. Processing time
from your payment is normally seven working days.
You will receive in the post full race
instructions, a sponsorship form and your individual
race number. Your race number is acceptance of
entry and all fees are non-refundable.
We would encourage you
to raise as much as you can for the charities we are
supporting. Please see our sponsorship section for
more details.
Closing Date
The online facility will
end on Friday 6th August 2010. Races
are likely to reach capacity very quickly and the online
booking facility may be withdrawn at any time before
this if race capacity is reached. After 6th
August, if there are still spaces available, the £5
entry fee can be obtained in person by visiting the St
Annes YMCA on or before Saturday 14th August.
