SCHOOLS INCENTIVES

This is quite simply an extraordinary opportunity for your school to benefit in TWO ways from our event. That’s right, your school can benefit as well from raising money for Monster Dash.

Incentive One – Win a Day Trip to Blackpool Tower

This is ONE prize for ONE lucky class.

The school class (approximately 20 to 30 pupils) that raises the most amount of money for our event will win free entry to Blackpool Tower for the entire class!!!

A day at the Tower includes a fantastic show - Mooky’s Eastern Promise – two hours of laughter, thrills and excitement with the UK’s favourite clown, Mooky, his long-suffering sidekick Mr Boo and a host of international circus acts. You can also enjoy the sights and sounds of the stunning Tower Ballroom as seen on Strictly Come Dancing, play in Jungle Jim’s Towering Adventureland, ride to the Tower Top, take the Walk of Faith (380 feet above the Promenade) and there's also the Aquarium, 3D Cinema, Jurassic Walk and more to be seen.

All this for the winning class for free! But it doesn’t end there! You also get free admission for the class to Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. Rub shoulders with A-List celebrities, meet your favourite pop and rock stars, stand alongside royalty, politicians and historical figures, play a starring role with movie legends and come face to face with sporting heroes!!!!

Please see full terms and conditions below.

Incentive Two – Raise Funds for YOUR School

And there is more!!! Because we did say there were two ways in which your school could benefit from raising money for Monster Dash.

This one is very simple. We will split the funds you raise for Monster Dash 50/50. Half goes to our charities and the other half to your school. This is for all schools, not just the winning class that raises the most sponsorship money. This gives your class a great way to raise money for local charities and is a great incentive for you and your children knowing that half of the money they raise is going towards their own school. And the school can use their funds any way they like. The total of the sponsorship money sent to Monster Dash will be used in the competition to determine the winning school class for Incentive One.

Terms and Conditions

1.

Each person entering any of the events must complete and submit an official Monster Dash registration form.  See the registration form for entry fees and the website Registration Page for full details. You will receive a race number to confirm you are an eligible and insured participant.

2.

If you are raising money as part of a school class, you need to complete a green coloured Schools Sponsorship Form and NOT the individual blue coloured sponsorship form. This can be downloaded and printed off by clicking on the button below and you can start raising sponsorship money now.

3.

Your sponsorship form needs to state clearly which school and which class you are raising funds for. Any forms which do not follow this guideline cannot be counted towards a class total.

4.

Only sponsorship money (and not entry fees for the race) will be counted towards a class total.

5.

The school class which raises and sends in the most sponsorship money to Monster Dash by
5pm on Monday 13th September will receive the day out at Blackpool Tower.

6.

This deadline has been set to give each school enough time to finalise and collect all outstanding contributions at the start of the Autumn term.

7.

The winning school class will be notified in writing and no other correspondence will be entered into. The decision of the Monster Dash organising committee is final on all prize draw matters.

8.

Any and every school is eligible to win this prize. Just contact the class teacher or head teacher and ask them to get in touch with us (see the 'Contact Us' page) for a starter pack which gives full instructions.

9.

Parents and teachers, as well as the pupils, are eligible to raise funds for your school class and it’s not limited to just the children. So all your friends and family can be involved too. Please refer to point 1 where everybody must register individually.

10.

The day out for your class to Blackpool Tower and Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks can be taken any day of the week including weekends. We have agreed with Blackpool Tower that the prize must be taken by the school on or before Sunday 3rd October 2010.

11.

The prize does not include transportation and you will need to make your own meal arrangements.

12.

At all times children at the Monster Dash event and the Blackpool Tower day out are the responsibility of their teachers/parents/guardians and neither Monster Dash or Blackpool Tower accept any responsibility for supervision.

13.

All school sponsorship entries where individuals have raised more than £25 will also be entered into the individual prize free draws. See 'Fun Run Incentives' and 'Junior Incentives' for full details.

14.

Entry into the school class prize draw is available to the families of the organisers of Monster Dash but these entrants will not be entered into the individual sponsorship incentive prize draws.

15.

The draw will take place on Tuesday 14th September 2010.

16.

The draw will be supervised by an independent adjudicator.

Good luck and may the best school class win!!!
